  1. Prepare for the Review

  • Positive Feedback: Highlight strengths and accomplishments.
  • Constructive Feedback: Address areas needing improvement with clarity and sensitivity.
c. Review Past Goals

  • Discuss Obstacles: Identify any challenges faced and how they were addressed.
d. Set New Goals and Objectives
  • SMART Goals: Ensure goals are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound.
  • Collaborative Planning: Involve the employee in setting realistic and motivating objectives.
e. Develop a Development Plan
  • Identify Opportunities: Suggest training programs, workshops, or mentorship opportunities.
  • Resource Allocation: Determine what support and resources are needed.
  • Timeline: Establish clear timelines for development activities.
